History of Valle Verde.

This association was created in September 2010 in the Caserío El Progreso, Centro Poblado la Lima, La Coipa district, San Ignacio province. In 2017 it was installed in the city of Jaén, becoming a commercial and certified coffee business. This association was originally founded with 15 members but today there are 350 members across surrounding areas. The founder and commercial manager of this association is Mr. Rolando Huamán Vásquez. The President is Juan Alexander Cabrera.

This wonderful coffee blend is sourced via the amazing team at Origin Coffee Lab in Cajamarca, Perú. At the core of OCL ethos is their Solidario program. The program provides a holistic developmental model that empowers farmers. They deliver both economic and agricultural modelling to each producer in order to provide a springboard for success. These curriculums are designed to encourage cup quality while also making coffee farming a consistently profitable practice for future generations.
